Here’s warm introduction about Halton Urology’s very own, Dr. Kevin Kwan.

Dr. Kevin Kwan joined Halton Healthcare in 2010 and serves the communities of Georgetown, Milton, Oakville as well as surrounding areas. He performs urologic surgeries at all three Halton Healthcare hospitals – Georgetown Hospital, Milton District Hospital and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

He completed his Honors Bachelor of Science Degree and his Medical Degree at Western University, in London and urology residency training at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.  After becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Kwan went on to start his general urology practice with a focus on minimally invasive and oncologic surgery. Dr. Kwan has a busy clinical practice and divides his time between all three Halton Healthcare hospitals.

Dr. Kwan is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at McMaster University. He is involved in the administration and delivery of postgraduate education for McMaster urology residency trainees. He continues to play an active role in the urology residency program and frequently works with medical trainees.

In 2014, Dr. Kwan became the Chief of Surgery at the Milton District Hospital. He is heavily involved in administrative work at Halton Healthcare and with the Milton District Hospital expansion. He sits on numerous committees at Halton Healthcare including the Medical Advisory Committee and Medical Education Committee.
