About
Kevin Kwan, BSc (Hons), MD, FRCSC
Dr. Kevin Kwan joined Halton Healthcare in 2010.
He completed his Honors Bachelor of Science Degree and his Medical Degree at Western University, and then his Urology residency at McMaster University. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Kwan went on to start his urology practice with a focus in the area of minimally invasive urologic surgeries and urologic oncology surgery. He has a special in interest and expertise in kidney cancer surgery.
Dr. Kwan has a busy clinical practice and divides his time between clinical, surgical education and administrative work. Dr. Kwan is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at McMaster University. He continues to play an active role in the urology residency program and frequently works with medical trainees.
In 2014, Dr. Kwan became the Chief of Surgery at the Milton District Hospital. Through this role, Dr. Kwan was actively involved in the hospital expansion, ongoing growing of the surgical department and helped guide the hospital through the pandemic. He sits on numerous committees at Halton Healthcare including the Medical Advisory Committee, Tri-site Surgical Committee and Medical Education Committee.
Eric Cole, BSc, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Eric Cole then joined Halton Healthcare in 2018.
Dr. Cole completed his medical school at Queen's University, then went on to complete his Urology residency at McMaster University in 2015. He then completed a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery and endourology at the University of Toronto.
Subsequently, Dr. Cole was a locum staff Urologist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton and part of the division of Urology at McMaster before moving his practice to Halton Healthcare. Dr. Cole continues to be an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at McMaster University with an ongoing role in the urology residency program.
The focus of his practice is in the area of complex stone disease, advanced laparoscopic urologic surgeries, and general urology.

To complement and support the busy practices of Dr. Eric Cole and Dr. Kevin Kwan, the Halton Urology clinic is always fully staffed to help with all your patient needs.
Lesley is our Halton Urology clinician and clinic manager and owner. She knows about your condition, and any treatments, medications and tests you may need to have, and can answer questions you may have after your visit or surgical procedure. Your case will be reviewed completely with your urologist to make sure that you have the best possible care.
Narges, Sabrina and Shannon, our medical office assistants, will help with making or changing your appointments, future test dates and laboratory requisitions or other appointment related paperwork.
